2021 Awareness Campaign
February is the National Pet Dental Health Month and Animora is proud to have donated over 1000 dental gels to 34 different shelters across Canada. The objective of this annual campaign is to promote oral health among new families so that they adopt good habits from the start with their new pet.
Young Business Innovation Award
Animora won the Young Business Innovation Award at the 30th Innovation Awards Gala of the Association for the Development of Research and Innovation in Quebec (ADRIQ). This Award aims to highlight the capacity for innovation and the technological creativity of our innovative Quebec companies. Awarded to a company that has recently developed and introduced to the market an innovation of innovative character, giving it a competitive advantage in its industry and market.
Le Soleil/Radio-Canada Winner
One prize after another this month for Andrée-Ann, our president and co-founder, who was selected as the Le Soleil/Radio-Canada winner for the month of September! Each month, a committee made up of people from Le Soleil and Radio-Canada Quebec selects a personality who has stood out to be the winner of the month. They are people from business, sport, cultural or social milieu all having one thing in common: to make a difference and to promote the Quebec region.

he Claude-Lessard Fund invests $50,000 in Animora
The second annual call for projects from the Claude-Lessard Fund materializes with an investment of $50,000 in Animora. The investment of the Claude-Lessard Fund is decisive for the company, which has the desire to pursue the business development of their next dental health products. This Fund aims to offer financial support for start-up with high growth potential by students or recently graduates of Laval University.
Animora is proud to be one of the recipients of one of the Rodrigue-Julien Grant offered to mentee entrepreneurs at Laval University. These grants are intended to recognize the strong commitment of entrepreneurs in their mentoring relationship.

Millennial entrepreneurs from Quebec on mission in France
As mentioned in the Journal de Québec, Animora will be part of the trade mission in France with Moovjee Québec. “They are under 30 and have a lot of ambition: 15 young women and businessmen from Quebec will soon fly to Paris to discover the French entrepreneurial culture and, why not, consider a possible breakthrough on the European market. “
It is with great pride that Animora is the recipient of the Honorary Grant of $ 25,000 from the Government of Quebec in addition to a year of free mentoring with Réseau M! The Ministry of Economy and Innovation received nearly 400 applications and as many original projects in the 17 regions of Quebec.
Graduation of the Académie de la relève entrepreneuriale
During the graduation of the 2019 cohort of entrepreneurs from the Académie de la relève entrepreneuriale CDPQ. Founder Andrée-Ann received the Gilles-Bernier Scholarship which aims to reward an entrepreneur from the Academy who has demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial skills and who presents a viable and exciting project.
Jean-Philippe Côté and Andrée-Ann Adam, founders of Animora, had the great pleasure of presiding over the Gala of the awards ceremony of the 18th edition of the Business Ideas Competition organized by Entrepreneuriat Laval. Pierre-Delagrave Fund grant in marketing innovation
Animora is one of the finalists for the Pierre-Delagrave grant in marketing innovation. Mr. Pierre Delagrave, holder of a B.A.A. in marketing, is one of the founders of Cossette, Canada’s largest communications agency. His intention is to support the realization of concrete and innovative marketing projects that contribute to the creation or improvement of a product or service.

It is with great pride that Animora have an article in Le Soleil newspaper. “Sometimes doing business is no more complicated than trying to get into the kitchen to create a new recipe with cranberries. This is what Andrée-Ann Adam and Jean-Philippe Côté did to develop not a cranberry sauce, but a dental gel for pets!”
Smile! A pet health care company comes out on top
With a winning combination that sounds perfect, the entrepreneurs behind it must be destined for success. It certainly looks that way: Just one year after Andrée-Ann Adam and Jean-Philippe Côté launched their company, their pet products are available at over 250 locations in Quebec, with plans to expand to the rest of Canada, the United States and Europe.

Animora is one of three winners who will receive in person mentorship from Joe Mimran in Toronto, as well as $20,000 worth of technology from and Solutionshop services. These three winners were selected from over 1,100 inspiring entries from across Canada.

Andrée-Ann Adam, the founding president of Animora is featured in the largest visibility campaign in the history of Femmessor! In all, 100 women entrepreneurs funded through Femmessor participate in the #jesuis campaign. Animora is part of the 5th cohort of the Parcours Europe | Destination France and Belgium organized by the Quebec Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This program will familiarize us with the European market. This gives us a unique opportunity to meet different actors in the field of pets and health products.
Agreement made with 3 dragons!
Animora is proud to conclude their presence on the show Dans l’oeil du Dragon by an agreement with three of the five dragons present: Anne Marcotte, Nicolas Duvernois, and Isabèle Chevalier. After a passage in the bunker for the founders of the company, but also for the dragons, the offer is accepted to close the beginning of a great adventure.

Animora made a noteworthy appearance during the sixth episode of the show “Dans l’oeil du dragon” aired on ICI Radio-Canada Télé on Wednesday, May 8, 2019. The Dragon guest was Anne Marcotte, Producer for Vivemtia Group Inc. , co-founder of Mouvement Adopte inc. and blogger for the newspaper Les Affaires. After seducing the dragons with the demonstration of Stitch and Boo dogs, the dragons were very interested in Animora’s offer.

Animora was selected to be part of the third cohort of the Académie de la relève entrepreneuriale at Laval University. The role of the Academy is to offer entrepreneurs who have the ambition to develop innovative companies, international in scope, and whose markets have no borders, a program tailored to enable them to become leaders and the leaders that our society so badly needs.

Forces AVENIR Gala Awards for Laval University Students
Animora is one of the few member projects of the University community of Laval University, whose work was rewarded by Forces AVENIR at the organization’s 20th university gala at Capitole de Québec. The Animora project received a $ 4,000 grant.

During our stay at the Startupfest in Montreal, our company did not go unnoticed. Indeed, Animora is among the 3 startups presented in the Journal de Montréal and the Journal de Québec. Startupfest is Canada’s largest startup event that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and many technology entrepreneurs.
OSEntreprendre Challenge - Regional
After having ranked at the local level of the OSEntreprendre Challenge, Animora was well-known at the gala in the Capitale-Nationale region. Indeed, Animora has been selected to represent the region in its category: Exploitation, transformation, production – Énergir and the emerging company has even won the prize Coup de coeur student entrepreneurs – Les Fonds de recherche du Québec.
Face aux Dragons de Lévis
Animora has been selected to follow the adventure of Face Dragons.
